Saudi Arabia Launches "Tourism Package Visa" to Facilitate Visits to the Kingdom
The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has announced the launch of the pilot phase for a new service called the "Tourism Package Visa." This service aims to facilitate entry procedures for tourists into the Kingdom and make their journey more comfortable and organized. This step comes as part of the Kingdom's ongoing efforts to develop the tourism sector and attract more visitors from around the world.
This new service allows tourists to obtain an entry visa by purchasing ready-made and specific tourism packages. These packages typically include a range of services such as hotel accommodation, transportation, and recreational activities. Through this system, travelers can plan their entire trip in a single step, saving significant time and effort in searching and booking.
This initiative is a fundamental part of Saudi Vision 2030, which aims to diversify the sources of the national economy. Through this vision, the Kingdom seeks to increase the tourism sector's contribution to the national income. The government is also working intensively to improve tourism infrastructure and provide advanced digital solutions to facilitate the traveler's experience from the moment they consider visiting.
The "Tourism Package Visa" is expected to contribute to supporting local tourism companies, hotels, and restaurants. This service will also help introduce visitors to the diverse and unique tourist destinations in the Kingdom, ranging from the ancient historical sites in AlUla to the charming beaches on the Red Sea coast and the green mountainous regions.
In conclusion, this pilot phase represents the beginning of a new and advanced stage in the Saudi travel and tourism sector. With the continuous updating of digital services, visiting the Kingdom will become an easier and more enjoyable experience for everyone. Saudi Arabia always welcomes visitors who wish to discover its rich culture, ancient history, and the hospitality of its people.
