Saudi Arabia launches integrated travel packages to simplify tourism procedures
The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has launched a new initiative aimed at boosting the tourism sector and facilitating the experience for visitors arriving from around the world. This step comes as part of the Kingdom's ongoing efforts to achieve the goals of Vision 2030 in diversifying the economy and attracting more international tourists.
This new initiative allows authorized travel service providers to bundle multiple services into a single, simplified booking. This includes booking round-trip flights, securing accommodation in licensed hotels, and submitting applications for electronic tourist visas in one streamlined process.
Through this integrated system, tourists will be able to save time and effort when planning their visit to the Kingdom. Authorities aim through this step to reduce bureaucratic procedures and make the travel experience smoother and more convenient for visitors, which encourages more people to choose the Kingdom as a preferred tourist destination.
This initiative reflects the Kingdom's commitment to developing digital infrastructure for the tourism sector. These facilities are expected to contribute to increasing the number of tourists arriving in the Kingdom and supporting the hospitality sector and local airlines, thereby strengthening Saudi Arabia's position as a leading global tourist hub.
