Developments in Lebanon: Casualties in Israeli Strike on Arabsalim
Lebanese medical sources announced that there were casualties in an airstrike carried out by Israeli aircraft on the town of Arabsalim, located in the Nabatieh District of southern Lebanon. This strike comes within the framework of the ongoing military escalation in the region.
Field reports confirmed that the final toll of the strike reached one martyr and six wounded, as ambulance and civil defense teams rushed to the scene of the incident to transport the injured to nearby hospitals for necessary treatment.
Southern regions in Lebanon have been witnessing increasing security tension for several months, which has led to a widespread displacement of residents from border villages toward safer areas, amidst international calls for de-escalation and avoiding the expansion of the conflict.
The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and countries in the region are following these developments with concern, as Riyadh has repeatedly called for the necessity of restraint and the protection of civilians, emphasizing the importance of diplomatic solutions to ensure the stability of Lebanon and preserve its sovereignty and territorial integrity.
