Launch of the "Healthy Hajj" campaign to enhance medical care for pilgrims within the Kingdom
Health authorities in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia have launched the "Healthy Hajj" campaign, a national initiative aimed at providing comprehensive medical support to pilgrims from within the Kingdom. This step comes as part of the Kingdom's commitment to ensuring the safety and comfort of the pilgrims during the Hajj season.
The campaign targets more than 160,000 male and female pilgrims from various regions of the Kingdom. The initiative works to provide primary care services before the start of the Hajj rituals, in order to ensure the pilgrims' health readiness and avoid any risks they may face while performing the pilgrimage.
The services provided under the campaign include comprehensive clinical and laboratory examinations for pilgrims. These examinations aim to assess the health status of the participants, provide them with the necessary medical consultations, and offer the preventive treatment they need before heading to the holy sites.
This campaign is part of the Ministry of Health's ongoing efforts to develop the medical services provided to pilgrims. Through these measures, the Ministry seeks to reduce the pressure on health centers in Makkah and the holy sites, and to provide a safe and comfortable health environment for all pilgrims.
This initiative is part of the Kingdom's vision to provide the best services to the pilgrims. It is expected that these early examinations will contribute to raising health awareness among pilgrims and enhancing their ability to perform the rituals with ease and convenience.
