SAAK International boosts defense manufacturing in the Kingdom under Vision 2030
The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia continues its ambitious steps toward strengthening the military industries sector, as SAAK International has announced the expansion of its efforts in localizing defense electronics. This step comes in line with the goals of the Kingdom's Vision 2030, which seeks to increase the percentage of local content in military industries.
SAAK International is one of the leading Saudi companies focused on production, assembly, and testing operations. The company also contributes to providing maintenance services for sensitive electronic systems, which enhances the Kingdom's ability to rely on its national cadres in this advanced technical sector.
Through these initiatives, the company aims to transfer technical knowledge and develop Saudi competencies in the fields of electronic engineering. This approach contributes to reducing reliance on imports from abroad and supports the sustainability of national defense systems by providing local and reliable technical solutions.
These efforts are part of a broader strategy led by the General Authority for Military Industries in the Kingdom. This strategy aims to transform Saudi Arabia into a regional hub for defense industries, creating new job opportunities for Saudi youth and achieving sustainable economic growth in the advanced technology sector.
