Saudi Arabia launches integrated travel packages to simplify tourist procedures
The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has launched a new initiative aimed at boosting the tourism sector and facilitating the experience for visitors arriving from all over the world. This initiative allows authorized travel service providers to offer comprehensive packages that combine flight bookings and certified hotel accommodations into a single reservation.
This step comes as part of the Kingdom's efforts to develop tourism infrastructure, as the new packages allow travelers to apply for an electronic tourist visa at the same time they book their trip. This procedure reduces the time and effort required to finalize necessary arrangements before travel.
The initiative aims to make visiting the Kingdom easier and more flexible, reflecting Saudi Arabia's commitment to achieving the goals of Vision 2030 in the tourism sector. By integrating services into a single platform, the relevant authorities seek to attract more international tourists and encourage them to explore the country's cultural and historical landmarks.
This move is expected to contribute to an increase in the number of visitors and stimulate the local economy by supporting the hospitality sector and airlines. The initiative underscores the Kingdom's commitment to providing a comfortable and modern travel experience that aligns with global standards in the tourism and travel industry.
