Qatar condemns Houthi statements against the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia
The Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued an official statement expressing its strong condemnation of the statements made by the Houthi group, in which it accused the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia of imposing a blockade on the Yemeni people and restricting maritime navigation.
This Qatari condemnation comes within the framework of affirming the rejection of allegations targeting the Kingdom, as Doha stressed the importance of supporting efforts aimed at achieving stability in the region and maintaining the security of international navigation.
These Houthi statements are considered part of a series of accusations that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia categorically rejects, confirming on numerous occasions its commitment to supporting the Yemeni people and facilitating the arrival of humanitarian aid through Yemeni ports and airports.
The Kingdom always emphasizes that these allegations lack validity and are aimed at misleading international public opinion regarding the situation in Yemen, noting that Saudi efforts are primarily focused on finding a comprehensive political solution to the Yemeni crisis.
The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia continues to work with the international community to ensure the safety of navigation in the Red Sea, and affirms that regional stability requires concerted international efforts to stop the threats that hinder global trade.
