Prosthetics Center in Marib provides services to over 600 beneficiaries with support from King Salman Relief Center
The Prosthetics and Rehabilitation Center in Yemen's Marib Governorate has continued to provide its specialized medical services to citizens, with ongoing support from the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief). During the past month of July, 614 people with special needs benefited from these services.
The services provided by the center varied to include the manufacturing and fitting of advanced prosthetic limbs, in addition to periodic maintenance operations for old prosthetics. The center also provided specialized physiotherapy programs and offered the necessary medical consultations to ensure the proper rehabilitation of patients and help them regain their mobility.
This project is part of the humanitarian efforts exerted by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to alleviate the suffering of the brotherly Yemeni people. The center aims to improve the quality of life for beneficiaries and enable them to lead their daily lives normally after sustaining injuries that led to the loss of their limbs.
This initiative is part of a series of humanitarian and development projects implemented by the King Salman Relief Center across various Yemeni governorates. These efforts underscore the Kingdom's commitment to providing medical and social support to the most needy groups, which enhances community stability and eases the health burdens on those affected.
