Saudi forces carry out air operations in Yemen in response to border attacks
Saudi forces launched a series of intensive airstrikes targeting positions belonging to the Houthi group in Yemen, as part of the Kingdom's efforts to protect its security and the stability of its southern borders.
Media reports indicated that the air force carried out 32 airstrikes during the overnight hours and into Wednesday morning. These operations targeted specific areas under Houthi control, just a few hours after attacks occurred targeting areas in the south of the Kingdom.
These military movements come in the context of ongoing tension at the border, as Saudi authorities affirm their commitment to defending their territory and citizens against any external threats that could affect the country's security.
The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is working continuously to enhance its defensive capabilities and secure its southern borders, while continuing to monitor field conditions to ensure the stability of border areas and prevent any future attacks.
These events remain part of the successive security developments in the region, as the relevant authorities in the Kingdom continue to take the necessary measures to deal with security challenges and maintain the safety of citizens and residents.
