Tech Week Singapore to Showcase New Data Centre Infrastructure Solutions
Tech Week Singapore is set to return, bringing together industry leaders to discuss the latest advancements in the digital economy. As Singapore continues to strengthen its position as a regional technology hub, the event will highlight new infrastructure solutions designed to support the growing demand for data centres across the country.
Among the participants, Kawan Bhd is expected to present its latest data centre infrastructure technologies during the event. This presentation comes at a challenging time for the company, which recently reported a net loss of RM653.16 million for the third quarter of 2026. The firm noted that this financial result was largely influenced by a significant impairment charge of RM1.62 billion.
Despite these financial difficulties, the company remains focused on its technological development. By showcasing its new solutions at Tech Week, Kawan Bhd aims to demonstrate its commitment to the data centre sector, which is a critical component of Singapore’s digital infrastructure. Industry experts believe that such innovations are essential for maintaining the efficiency and sustainability of data storage facilities in the region.
The event serves as a platform for companies to share knowledge and address the technical requirements of modern data centres. As Singapore pushes toward a more connected future, the focus on robust and reliable infrastructure remains a top priority for both local and international technology firms.
Tech Week Singapore continues to be a key date for professionals in the industry. The upcoming sessions will provide valuable insights into how companies are navigating financial and operational challenges while continuing to invest in the digital tools that power Singapore’s economy.
