Singapore Sees Significant Growth in Top Global Talent
Singapore has experienced a major increase in the number of high-level professionals choosing to work in the country. According to the Ministry of Manpower (MOM), the number of individuals holding the Overseas Networks & Expertise (ONE) Pass has more than doubled over the past few years.
As of December 2025, there were approximately 8,500 ONE Pass holders living and working in Singapore. This is a significant rise from the 4,000 holders recorded in previous years, highlighting the country's ongoing appeal to international experts.
The ONE Pass is a special visa designed for top-tier talent across various sectors, including business, arts, sports, science, and technology. It allows these high earners and experts more flexibility than standard work passes, enabling them to work for multiple companies at the same time.
Government officials state that attracting this global talent is essential for Singapore’s economy. By bringing in experienced professionals from around the world, the nation aims to strengthen its position as a global hub for innovation and business growth.
As Singapore continues to adapt to a changing global economy, the growth of this program reflects the country's commitment to remaining competitive. The government plans to continue monitoring these trends to ensure that the workforce remains skilled and diverse.
