Sarawak Science Centre to Train Future Leaders in Hydrogen Economy
A new initiative is underway in Sarawak to prepare the next generation for the future of energy. The Sarawak Science Centre has announced its commitment to nurturing science-savvy youths, focusing on skills that will support the state’s growing hydrogen economy.
This project aims to bridge the gap between classroom learning and real-world industrial needs. By providing students with hands-on experience and specialized training, the centre hopes to build a workforce capable of managing advanced green energy technologies.
For Singapore, this development is significant as the region continues to explore sustainable energy solutions. As neighbouring countries invest in hydrogen, these efforts contribute to the broader goal of regional energy security and environmental sustainability in Southeast Asia.
The Sarawak Science Centre will serve as a hub for innovation, offering resources that encourage students to pursue careers in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM). Officials believe that fostering these talents early is essential for long-term economic growth.
As the hydrogen sector continues to expand, the focus on education remains a top priority. By investing in youth development today, Sarawak is positioning itself as a key player in the transition to cleaner energy sources for the future.
