More Tennis Courts to Open for Public Booking in Singapore
Sport Singapore (SportSG) has announced new measures to increase the availability of tennis courts for the public. This initiative aims to address the high demand for court bookings across the island, making it easier for residents to find a place to play their favourite sport.
The changes will affect several popular locations, including the Kallang Tennis Hub. Additionally, ActiveSG facilities such as the one at Heartbeat @ Bedok will see adjustments to their booking systems. These updates are designed to ensure that more court time is accessible to casual players and tennis enthusiasts.
SportSG stated that these improvements are part of an ongoing effort to manage sports facilities more efficiently. By optimising the booking process and adjusting usage policies, the organisation hopes to reduce waiting times and provide more opportunities for the community to stay active.
Residents are encouraged to check the ActiveSG website or mobile application for the latest updates on court availability. These changes will be implemented progressively, so users should look out for new booking slots as they become available in the coming weeks.
This move is expected to be welcomed by many Singaporeans who have found it difficult to secure court space in recent months. By prioritising public access, SportSG continues its commitment to promoting a healthy and active lifestyle for everyone in the community.
