Singapore and China Begin Joint Maritime Exercise
The Republic of Singapore Navy (RSN) has officially started a bilateral maritime cooperation exercise with the Chinese navy. This joint training program is scheduled to take place from September 5 to September 9.
These exercises are designed to strengthen professional cooperation and improve communication between the two navies. By working together at sea, both nations aim to build mutual trust and enhance their ability to operate effectively in shared maritime environments.
Such bilateral drills are a regular part of Singapore's defense diplomacy. They provide an important platform for naval personnel to exchange knowledge and practice standard procedures, which helps to maintain regional stability and safety.
This exercise highlights the ongoing commitment of both countries to maintain positive military-to-military relations. As the event concludes on September 9, both navies will continue to focus on maritime security and cooperation in the region.
