Singapore Monitors Air Quality as Haze Levels Remain Stable
The National Environment Agency (NEA) has released an update on the air quality situation in Singapore as of 20 September 2026. Authorities are closely monitoring the regional haze situation to ensure the safety and well-being of the public. Currently, air quality levels remain within the moderate range, and there is no immediate cause for alarm.
NEA officials stated that they are tracking hotspots in the surrounding region, which is a common practice during this time of the year. While the weather conditions have been generally dry, the agency is working with regional partners to manage the situation. They continue to provide daily updates to keep residents informed about any potential changes in air quality.
For the general public, the NEA advises staying updated through official channels, such as the myENV app or the agency’s website. While current conditions do not require significant changes to daily activities, those who are sensitive to air quality, such as the elderly or young children, are encouraged to keep an eye on health advisories.
As Singapore continues to monitor the situation, the government remains prepared to implement necessary measures if air quality declines. Residents are reminded to maintain good habits and follow official guidance to ensure a healthy environment for everyone in the community.
