OpenAI Africa Lead to Discuss AI Future at Africa Tech Festival 2026
The upcoming Africa Tech Festival 2026 has announced a major addition to its speaker lineup. Emmanuel Lubanzadio, the Africa Lead for OpenAI, is confirmed to join the event to discuss the future of artificial intelligence on the continent.
As the leader of OpenAI’s operations in Africa, Lubanzadio plays a key role in how the company approaches local markets. His presence at the festival is expected to draw significant attention from technology experts, business leaders, and developers across South Africa and the rest of the continent.
During his session, Lubanzadio will focus on the adoption and readiness of AI technologies. This topic is particularly relevant as South African businesses look for ways to integrate advanced tools into their daily operations to improve efficiency and innovation.
The Africa Tech Festival is one of the most important technology gatherings in the region. By hosting global leaders like those from OpenAI, the event aims to bridge the gap between international AI developments and local implementation strategies.
For many South Africans working in the tech sector, this presentation will provide valuable insights into how AI can be used to solve local challenges. The festival continues to be a central platform for shaping the digital future of the African continent.
