Korea University of Technology and Education Guarantees Employment Upon Admission with New 'Chungnam-style Contract Department'
The Korea University of Technology and Education (KOREATECH), in collaboration with Chungcheongnam-do, is establishing a new 'Chungnam-style Contract Department' to cultivate talent that will lead regional industrial development. This contract department is structured to guarantee employment for students upon graduation as soon as they are admitted, which is expected to provide students with a stable career path.
This department offers a curriculum linked to major industrial sectors in the Chungnam region. In addition to learning theory at the university, students will acquire practical, skill-oriented knowledge required in actual corporate settings. This allows companies to secure necessary talent in advance while providing an environment where students can focus on their studies without worrying about employment.
This program is being evaluated as a successful model created through the cooperation of local universities, local governments, and regional businesses.
