National Daegu Science Museum Ranks 1st in Public Sector Tourist Attractions for 2025
The National Daegu Science Museum ranked first in the nation in 2025 by attracting the highest number of visitors among public sector tourist attractions. This is analyzed as a result of various programs that combine science education and cultural experiences, which have gained great popularity among family visitors.
This achievement is due to the science museum's transformation from a space for simply viewing exhibits into a complex cultural space where citizens can directly participate and enjoy themselves. In particular, experiential exhibitions utilizing the latest scientific technology and seasonal special events have captured the attention of visitors.
In addition, the National Daegu Science Museum has worked to improve transportation accessibility and expand convenience facilities. These efforts have been positively received by both local residents and tourists from other regions, contributing to higher visitor satisfaction.
Moving forward, the science museum plans to develop new content so that more citizens can encounter science easily and enjoyably. With this first-place achievement, the National Daegu Science Museum is expected to further solidify its position as a key tourist destination and educational institution representing the region.
