Korea Climate Tech Association and Seoul National University Collaborate to Foster Climate Tech Industry
The Korea Climate Tech Association has joined forces with the Seoul National University Climate Tech Center to begin fostering the domestic climate tech industry in earnest. The two organizations plan to pool their efforts for technology development and the growth of related industries to address the climate crisis.
This collaboration aims to discover innovative technologies in the climate tech sector and effectively diffuse them into the market. Climate tech refers to technologies that help reduce greenhouse gas emissions or adapt to climate change, and it has recently been gaining attention as a critically important industry worldwide.
Moving forward, the association and the center plan to carry out various activities, such as conducting joint research and training professional personnel. Furthermore, they intend to focus on enhancing the competitiveness of the domestic industry by establishing a support system that allows promising climate tech companies to grow steadily.
It is expected that Korea's climate tech will advance to the next level through this partnership. Much attention is being focused on whether the cooperation between the two institutions will play a major role in vitalizing the domestic climate tech ecosystem and creating a sustainable future.
