Voting for 10,000 Landmarks in South Korea Surpasses 30,000 Participants in Just One Week
A voting event to select landmarks across South Korea has recently been drawing significant attention. This project, organized by Korea Donggrami Partners, covers 10,000 landmarks nationwide and has surpassed 30,000 participants within just one week of its launch.
Beyond simply selecting popular spots, the purpose of this event is to experience and understand daily mobility environments from the perspective of people with disabilities. Participants are taking time to reflect on whether the places around us are truly accessible and convenient for everyone.
At Technoplex, the headquarters of Hankook & Company Group where the event was held, various activities were conducted to reflect on the value of inclusion. Many citizens participated, creating an opportunity to contemplate the changes necessary for our society to live together.
The results of this vote will be used as important data to create mobility environments that both people with and without disabilities can enjoy together in the future. Many people are sending their support for this effort to enhance the inclusivity of our society.
