Nationwide Apartment Sale Prices Continue to Rise… Gains Expand, Centered on the Capital Region
Recently, apartment sale prices across the country have shown a steady upward trend. Interest in the real estate market is rising again, particularly as the rate of increase in the capital region, including Seoul, has expanded.
According to the latest statistics, apartment sale prices in the capital region rose by 0.17%. Looking at the data by region, Seoul recorded the highest growth rate at 0.26%, followed by Gyeonggi at 0.16% and Incheon at 0.03%. Prices in provincial areas also rose by 0.01%, indicating a nationwide upward trend in prices.
The number of regions where prices have risen has also increased. Among the 182 cities, counties, and districts nationwide, the number of areas where apartment prices increased rose from 112 in the previous survey to 117 this time. This demonstrates that the upward trend in the real estate market is spreading beyond specific regions to the entire country.
Amidst these market conditions, the importance of residential environments prepared for an aging society is also receiving attention. At the recent inaugural general meeting and symposium of the 'Korea Healthcare Silver Town Development Convergence Society,' ways to integrate housing development for the elderly with healthcare services were discussed.
Many are watching to see whether the upward trend in the real estate market will continue and how changes in residential environments will affect the market. Experts advise closely monitoring the market situation and responding with caution.
