Six Institutions Including Seoul National University and KAIST Host ‘2026 Win-Win Forum’ to Foster Deep-Tech Startups
Recently, six major domestic institutions, including Seoul National University and KAIST, have joined forces to support startups in the deep-tech sector. They co-hosted the ‘2026 Win-Win Forum’ and have begun full-scale cultivation efforts by selecting 256 startups with innovative technologies.
This forum goes beyond simple information sharing, focusing on helping startups achieve tangible growth. It is particularly significant in that it has provided a venue for entrepreneurs in the deep-tech field—a core future technology area including artificial intelligence and semiconductors—to interact and collaborate with one another.
Various programs under the name ‘Hope Dream NEXT’ are also being operated during the event. This program consists of three units: ‘Seed,’ which provides scholarships for musical prodigies; ‘Stage,’ which helps emerging performers; and ‘Sketch,’ which supports up-and-coming writers, attempting a fusion of art and technology.
Officials participating in this forum stated, “We will continue to provide unwavering support so that the domestic startup ecosystem can become even more vibrant.” It is expected that the talent discovered through this event will play a crucial role in enhancing South Korea’s technological competitiveness in the future.
