Yeoncheon-gun and KEPCO Strengthen Cooperation for Stable Power Supply
Yeoncheon-gun, Gyeonggi-do, has joined hands with the Korea Electric Power Corporation (KEPCO) to expand the stable power grid within the region. This collaboration was initiated to establish essential infrastructure to enhance industrial development and improve the quality of life for residents in Yeoncheon-gun.
With the recent increase in corporate investment and population inflow, the demand for electricity in Yeoncheon-gun has been steadily rising. Consequently, a stable power supply has emerged as a key task for revitalizing the local economy, and both organizations have agreed to cooperate closely for the efficient operation and expansion of power facilities.
Through this agreement, Yeoncheon-gun and KEPCO plan to simplify administrative procedures required for power grid installation and seek ways to minimize inconvenience to residents.
