Korea University of Technology and Education Students Win Minister of Employment and Labor Award at ‘MECA KOREA CUP’
Recently, students from the ‘Work-Study Parallel College’ at the Korea University of Technology and Education (KOREATECH) proved their excellence by winning the Minister of Employment and Labor Award at the ‘MECA KOREA CUP’ competition. This event was co-hosted by the Korea University of Technology and Education and Mitsubishi Electric Automation Korea.
This competition was organized to help students develop the practical skills needed in the field and to foster their ability to solve problems creatively. Based on the theories and techniques learned at school, participants competed by performing tasks similar to those encountered in actual industrial settings.
The award-winning students have consistently built field-oriented practical competencies through an educational curriculum that combines work and study. This achievement is being evaluated as an important case demonstrating that students possess skills that can be immediately applied in industrial settings.
A representative from the Korea University of Technology and Education stated that the university will continue to actively support students so that they can grow into core talents who will lead future industries through practical, field-centered education. This award is a valuable result created by the combination of the students' hard work and the school's practical education system.
