BTS to Promote Korea at the British Museum; Corporate Support and Korea-US Consultations, and More
BTS is collaborating with the British Museum to hold an exhibition promoting Korea's cultural heritage to the world. Domestically, technical and financial support for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and agri-food companies is expanding, and news has also been shared regarding consultations between the leaders of South Korea and the U.S. concerning warships, as well as events to enjoy the World Cup.
BTS will enhance the national brand value by introducing Korean artifacts at the British Museum’s Korea Gallery. The exhibition, themed after the BTS album title "Arirang," showcases artifacts related to hope, resilience, and a sense of belonging. Through this collaboration between world-renowned artists and the museum, Korean traditional culture is expected to become more familiar to global audiences.
Support will be strengthened for SMEs and agri-food companies facing difficulties in adopting technology or securing funds. LG CNS has decided to help the competitiveness of companies by disseminating AI Transformation (AX) technology and expertise to small and medium-sized manufacturing sites. NH Bank also plans to discover outstanding agri-food companies to provide financial support and contribute to increasing the consumption of domestic agricultural products.
To mark the World Cup period, "viewing pubs" where matches can be watched will be operated throughout the city, and various campaigns such as beer discounts will be held. In match news, Norway defeated Senegal 3-2, and a large-scale halftime show featuring BTS and an educational fundraising event are scheduled for the final. Meanwhile, the leaders of South Korea and the U.S. agreed to establish specific cooperation measures through working-level consultations regarding U.S. military warships.
