Geoje Mental Health Welfare Center and Geoje Shinmun Collaborate to Spread a Culture of Respect for Life
The Geoje Mental Health Welfare Center and Geoje Shinmun have joined forces to spread a culture of respect for life within the local community. The two organizations recently signed a business agreement, pledging to work together to protect the mental health of citizens and engage in suicide prevention activities.
Through this agreement, Geoje Shinmun will take on the role of actively informing citizens about mental health-related information within the region. In addition, the Geoje Mental Health Welfare Center plans to provide professional counseling and educational programs to help citizens live with healthier minds.
Both organizations expect this collaboration to serve as an opportunity to further strengthen the local community's safety net. In particular, they plan to focus on reducing social prejudice regarding mental health issues and creating an environment where those in need can easily request help at any time.
Moving forward, the two organizations will promote the value of respecting life through regular campaigns and promotional activities. We hope this collaboration will be a great help in improving the mental health of Geoje citizens and creating a happy local community.
