KASA Hosts the '24th Korea Robot Aircraft Competition' to Cultivate Future Talent
The Korea Aerospace Administration (KASA) announced that it successfully concluded the '24th Korea Robot Aircraft Competition (AAM Tech Challenge)' at the Air Force Education and Training Command in Jinju, Gyeongsangnam-do, on the 6th. This competition was organized to discover and nurture outstanding talent who will lead the future aerospace industry.
In this competition, participants showcased various robot aircraft utilizing Advanced Air Mobility (AAM) technology. In particular, the aircraft designed and built by the students themselves performed actual flight missions, providing an opportunity to demonstrate the technical skills they have honed.
A KASA official evaluated the event as an important milestone that went beyond simple competition, serving as an opportunity for young engineers who will shoulder the future of Korea's aerospace industry to interact and grow together. They also stated that they plan to continue supporting such forums for technical competition in the future.
