Controversy over 'missing votes' in People Power Party's Yongin-gap primary leads to war of words among leadership
A controversy has erupted after it was discovered that voting calls were omitted during the primary process to select the organizational committee chair for the People Power Party in Yongin-gap. This incident has escalated into a conflict, with party leadership showing significant differences in opinion regarding the fairness of the primary results.
Supreme Council member Yang Hyang-ja pointed out the errors that occurred during the primary process and argued that the vote should be conducted again in accordance with principle. Her position is that a transparent re-vote is essential to restore the credibility of the primary.
On the other hand, Representative Jang Dong-hyuk strongly refuted these claims. Representative Jang criticized the demand for a re-vote as an attempt to shake the party leadership, stating that it is inappropriate to overturn the primary results under the current circumstances.
As the conflict surrounding the primary errors continues within the party, attention is focused on how the People Power Party will resolve this issue and lead internal harmony in the future.
