Renault Korea Finds Common Ground by Changing Performance Bonus Payment Method
Renault Korea has recently announced a new revised agreement on its performance bonus payment method to resolve conflicts between labor and management. This agreement was prepared by taking into account both the company's management situation and the demands of its employees.
The biggest change is the ratio at which performance bonuses are paid. Previously, it was decided to pay 40% in cash and 60% in stocks, but this has been adjusted to 50% in cash and 50% in stocks. It is characterized by increasing the proportion that employees can receive in cash, thereby enhancing practical benefits.
This agreement is evaluated as an important decision to restore trust between labor and management and increase productivity. Through this change, Renault Korea plans to increase employee satisfaction and create a stable management environment.
Moving forward, Renault Korea intends to focus more on automobile production and sales based on the new agreement. The industry's attention is focused on whether this measure will have a positive impact on the company's growth and the development of labor-management relations.
