LG Household & Health Care Partners with Korea Food Research Institute to Develop 'Well-aging' Technology
LG Household & Health Care is embarking on the development of 'well-aging' technology for a healthy retirement in partnership with the Korea Food Research Institute. The two organizations recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) and agreed to jointly research new materials to extend healthy lifespans.
Through this agreement, LG Household & Health Care plans to utilize the specialized research capabilities of the Korea Food Research Institute to develop differentiated health functional foods and cosmetic ingredients. In particular, as the aging society progresses rapidly, the company intends to focus on developing products that help consumers age healthily.
Meanwhile, LG Electronics is continuing its innovation in the home appliance sector by recently showcasing artificial intelligence (AI) home technology centered on the 'LG ThinQ On' and 'LG ThinQ' platforms. In this way, the LG Group is preparing for the future market by strengthening its technological prowess not only in home appliances but also in the bio and health sectors.
