Jinju City Practices Warm Sharing by Delivering Rewards to Korean War Veterans
Jinju City, Gyeongsangnam-do, is carrying out a meaningful sharing activity for local Korean War veterans. The city has decided to use recently donated prize money to support veterans living in difficult circumstances.
This support will be provided through the Jinju Welfare Foundation. Recipients were selected with the recommendation and cooperation of the Western Gyeongnam Veterans Affairs Office, and a total of 40 Korean War veterans are scheduled to receive the support.
A reward of 200,000 won will be delivered to each recipient. Through this support, Jinju City hopes to express its gratitude to the veterans who dedicated themselves to the country and provide at least some help in stabilizing their daily lives.
Jinju City plans to continue promoting various welfare policies for veterans' families in the local community. This act of sharing is expected to serve as an opportunity to boost the pride of Korean War veterans and spread a warm atmosphere throughout the local community.
