KOMIPO Obtains International Certification for Artificial Intelligence Management System
Korea Midland Power (KOMIPO) has recently been recognized for its technical capabilities by obtaining international standard certification for its artificial intelligence (AI) management system. This certification serves as an important indicator for evaluating how safely and systematically a company operates its AI technology.
This achievement is the result of KOMIPO's efforts to integrate AI technology across its entire management structure in the era of digital transformation. The company plans to utilize AI to enhance operational efficiency and provide more stable power supply services in the future.
Meanwhile, KOMIPO operates an 'Honorary Director System' to strengthen communication with the local community. This system involves appointing external experts who are well-versed in small businesses and local commercial districts as honorary directors, thereby incorporating diverse private-sector opinions into management.
A KOMIPO official stated that the company will continue to pursue transparent and innovative management through this international certification and the operation of the Honorary Director System. Attention is now focused on whether the company can continue to achieve its dual goals of technological innovation and local coexistence.
