Large-scale complex cultural library to be built in Gyeongju Hwangseong Park
A new complex cultural space for citizens is scheduled to be built in Gyeongju Hwangseong Park. It is planned to be created as a place where people can experience various cultures and sciences, going beyond the simple function of a library for reading books.
The newly built library is designed to allow citizens to learn history and enjoy cultural activities. In particular, it is expected to have a significant educational impact as it will include experiential facilities where children and adolescents can easily engage with science.
Through this project, Gyeongju City aims to make Hwangseong Park a representative cultural hub of the region. Once the library is completed, it is expected that the quality of life for citizens will improve and the cultural level of the local community will further develop.
Discussions regarding the specific construction schedule and facility composition are currently underway. Gyeongju City has stated that it will actively reflect the opinions of citizens to complete a complex cultural library that anyone can visit with ease.
