POSCO E&C Commercializes 'Eco-Saver' Technology to Reduce Apartment Heating and Cooling Energy
POSCO E&C has developed 'Eco-Saver,' a new system that can effectively reduce heating and cooling energy consumption in apartment complexes, and has begun full-scale commercialization. With the recent rise in energy costs and growing interest in environmental protection, technologies that enhance energy efficiency in residential spaces are receiving significant attention.
'Eco-Saver' is a technology that analyzes the temperature and humidity inside an apartment in real-time to adjust heating and cooling devices to their optimal state. By using this system, unnecessary energy waste can be prevented, allowing residents to save on maintenance costs while enjoying a more comfortable indoor environment.
POSCO E&C plans to apply this technology sequentially to new apartment complexes it constructs. In particular, this system is designed to integrate with smart home technology, enabling residents to easily check and manage their energy usage status through a smartphone app.
