President Lee Jae-myung and First Lady Visit 'Korea Street' in Santiago, Chile
President Lee Jae-myung and First Lady Kim Hye-kyung visited 'Korea Street' in Santiago, the capital of Chile, on the afternoon of the 30th (local time). This visit was arranged to promote Korean culture and encourage Korean residents living in Chile.
'Korea Street' in Santiago is well-known as a landmark symbolizing the friendly relations between the two countries. President Lee and the First Lady walked through the street to experience the local atmosphere and toured the various Korea-related facilities established there.
Many Korean residents gathered at the site to welcome the President and the First Lady. President Lee met with the residents in person to talk with them and expressed his gratitude for their hard work in enhancing Korea's prestige in a foreign land.
