POSCO E&C Commercializes 'Eco-Saver' Technology to Reduce Heating and Cooling Energy in Apartments
POSCO E&C has developed 'Eco-Saver,' a new system capable of significantly reducing heating and cooling energy consumption in apartment complexes, and has begun full-scale commercialization. This technology was designed to alleviate the burden of maintenance costs for apartment residents and improve energy efficiency.
The Eco-Saver system analyzes temperature changes inside the apartment in real time to efficiently control heating and cooling devices. The core objective is to prevent unnecessary energy waste while maintaining comfort in living spaces. It is expected to provide practical assistance, especially to many households concerned about rising energy costs.
POSCO E&C plans to apply this technology primarily to new apartment complexes it constructs. Furthermore, the company is reviewing plans to expand the application of this technology so that it can also be introduced to existing apartment complexes.
This technology development is one of POSCO E&C's efforts to create an eco-friendly residential culture. The company stated its goal to continue developing energy-saving technologies to provide better living environments for residents.
