KB Kookmin Bank Provides Additional 300 Million Won for 'Mind Care Counseling Service' for Vulnerable Debtors
KB Kookmin Bank is practicing warm sharing to help those experiencing economic difficulties. The bank has decided to expand its support so that more people can access the 'Mind Care Counseling Service,' which it operates in collaboration with the Credit Counseling and Recovery Service.
On the 26th, KB Kookmin Bank announced an additional contribution of 300 million won for this service. This donation will be used to provide professional psychological counseling to vulnerable debtors who are in situations where it is difficult to repay their debts.
The 'Mind Care Counseling Service' aims to go beyond simply solving economic problems and reduce the mental stress and depression experienced by debtors. Through counseling with experts, debtors find psychological stability and gain the courage to return to society.
Recently, many ordinary citizens have been suffering economic hardship due to continuous high interest rates and rising prices. During these difficult times, financial institutions fulfilling their social responsibilities and looking after marginalized neighbors are receiving positive evaluations from the local community.
An official from KB Kookmin Bank stated that they will continue various support activities for disadvantaged neighbors in society. It is hoped that this additional support will provide practical help to many people struggling with economic difficulties and serve as a stepping stone for a new beginning.
