Korean Tourism Startups Host Global Business Day to Expand into Overseas Markets
The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Korea Tourism Organization have stepped up to help domestic tourism startups expand into overseas markets. The two organizations have arranged an event to support domestic companies in gaining competitiveness in the global market and attracting investment.
This event, 'Global Business Day,' will be held for two days starting on the 21st at the Grand InterContinental Seoul Parnas. The program is designed to allow domestic tourism startups to meet directly with international investors and explore business opportunities.
During the event, participating companies will present their business models to overseas investors and discuss specific investment attraction strategies through one-on-one consultations. In addition, various sessions have been prepared to help them gain practical information and build networks necessary for entering overseas markets.
The government and the Korea Tourism Organization aim to use this event as a stepping stone for domestic tourism startups to grow into global companies. They plan to continue providing support so that domestic tourism firms with excellent technological capabilities can thrive on the world stage.
