Logistics Company Willog and KTNET Partner to Digitize International Logistics
Recently, the domestic logistics technology company Willog joined hands with the Korea Trade Network (KTNET) to embark on the digital transformation of international logistics services. This collaboration was initiated to secure 'logistics visibility,' which allows for the real-time tracking of cargo location and condition throughout complex international logistics processes.
Through this agreement, the two companies plan to build a system that integrates and manages logistics data. This will enable import and export companies to more accurately identify where their cargo is and in what condition it is being transported. This is expected to be a significant help in increasing logistics efficiency and reducing costs.
In the past, there have been various attempts to build efficient systems in the field of vessel management, but they faced difficulties due to several practical constraints. This partnership is evaluated as an attempt to overcome these past limitations and once again enhance the competitiveness of the logistics industry by utilizing the latest IT technologies.
If the introduction of this digital logistics system is successful, it is expected that the overseas export environment for domestic companies will be further improved. The industry's attention is focused on how Willog and KTNET will lead the digital innovation of the logistics industry in the future.
