Electric Vehicle Fire Prevention Technology to Take Center Stage at 'FIRE TECH KOREA 2026'
Amidst growing social concern regarding electric vehicle (EV) fires, related safety technologies are receiving significant attention. Domestic company 'The Keeper' announced that it will participate in 'FIRE TECH KOREA 2026,' a fire and safety industry exhibition scheduled for 2026.
At this exhibition, The Keeper plans to showcase 'EV Keeper,' an artificial intelligence (AI)-based solution for early detection and on-site response to EV fires. This technology is characterized by its ability to rapidly detect signs of a fire and integrate immediate response measures into a single system.
Unlike conventional vehicles, electric vehicles pose risks due to the difficulty of extinguishing fires once they start and the rapid speed at which they spread. Therefore, the AI-based solution being unveiled is expected to play a crucial role in minimizing damage by detecting fires at an early stage.
Through this exhibition, The Keeper plans to present the future direction of disaster safety technology and continue its efforts to create a safer environment for electric vehicle usage. Related industries and citizens are showing interest in how this technology will be utilized in real-world scenarios.
