Financial Sector Expands Customized Financial Education Programs for Teenagers and College Students
The domestic financial sector has recently been actively engaged in educational programs for future generations. Various activities that help teenagers and college students build sound financial knowledge and gain practical experience are garnering attention.
'Upclass Junior,' a digital financial education program for teenagers operated by Dunamu, achieved significant results in the first half of the year. The program received a highly positive response, with student satisfaction reaching 96%, and Dunamu plans to officially launch its second-half curriculum starting on the 18th.
Opportunities for practical experience for college students are also increasing. Korea Investment & Securities has selected the 3rd cohort of its college student supporters, 'BanKIS Buddy,' and has begun full-scale activities. These supporters will participate in various programs where they can gain hands-on experience in finance and marketing to develop their professional expertise.
These financial education programs are helping students easily understand economic concepts and make future career decisions. Financial firms plan to continue their social contribution activities aimed at fostering future talent.
These efforts by the financial sector are expected to not only provide practical help to teenagers and college students but also contribute to raising the overall level of financial literacy in our society.
