Korea Social Security Information Service and Gwangjin Fire Station Conduct Joint Fire Drill
The Korea Social Security Information Service recently conducted a joint fire drill with the Gwangjin Fire Station as part of the 2026 Ulchi Exercise. This drill was organized to enhance the fire response capabilities of public institutions and to ensure a rapid response in the event of an emergency.
Participating employees learned evacuation procedures in the event of a fire and practiced initial response methods, such as how to use a fire extinguisher. They also checked the process of safely evacuating the building in cooperation with firefighters in an environment similar to a real-life situation.
An official from the Gwangjin Fire Station assessed that this drill helped public institution employees develop the ability to respond calmly without panic during disaster situations. The Korea Social Security Information Service also stated that it would continue to create a safe working environment through regular training.
This joint drill was conducted in line with the purpose of the Ulchi Exercise, which is to inspect the national emergency preparedness posture. Moving forward, the two organizations plan to continue their efforts to protect the safety of the local community through close cooperation.
