The Charm of Gyeongnam Traditional Liquor Shines at the Busan International Wine & Spirits Expo
Traditional liquors from Gyeongsangnam-do recently participated in the 'Busan International Wine & Spirits Expo' held in Busan, drawing significant attention from visitors. This event was organized to promote the excellence of regional traditional liquors and expand their sales channels.
Fourteen traditional liquor manufacturers from the Gyeongnam region participated in this expo. They showcased a variety of liquors representing each area at the Gyeongnam Traditional Liquor Special Pavilion, which was operated as part of the '2026 Excellent Regional Traditional Liquor Promotion and Sales Support Project.'
Visitors at the venue had the opportunity to taste traditional liquors made with local specialties from Gyeongnam, experiencing the deep flavors and aromas of our traditional spirits. The manufacturers took the time to explain the characteristics of their products directly to consumers, fostering a greater sense of familiarity with traditional liquor.
Gyeongsangnam-do expects that participation in this expo will serve as an opportunity to enhance the competitiveness of the regional traditional liquor industry. Moving forward, the province plans to continue providing various promotional activities and support so that regional traditional liquors can be loved by even more consumers.
