Gimhae City and Korea Gas Corporation Take the Lead in Community Safety and Welfare
Recently, various activities have been carried out in Gimhae City, Gyeongsangnam-do, to protect the safety and support the health of its citizens. Gimhae City conducted emergency rescue training in preparation for disasters, while the Korea Gas Corporation provided medical expenses for local residents with disabilities. These efforts are playing a significant role in creating a safer and warmer community.
First, on the 16th, Gimhae City conducted the "First Half of 2026 Emergency Rescue Training" in the city hall's main conference room. This training was designed to prevent major accidents and to quickly rescue citizens in the event of an actual disaster. Relevant organizations, such as the Korea Occupational Safety and Health Agency, participated in the training to thoroughly inspect the safety management system.
Along with this, news of warm sharing for the community was also reported. The Busan-Gyeongnam Regional Headquarters of the Korea Gas Corporation decided to sponsor treatment costs to help the oral health of people with disabilities in the Gimhae area. Since dental treatment often involves a heavy financial burden that prevents people from receiving care, this sponsorship is expected to be a great source of support for neighbors facing economic difficulties.
An official from Gimhae City emphasized that both safety training to protect citizens' lives and welfare support to look after marginalized neighbors are important. Moving forward, Gimhae City and various public institutions plan to cooperate closely to do their best to create an environment where all residents can live safely and healthily.
