Finding Korea's Hidden Gems: Public Voting Period Extended Until the 17th
The public participation voting period for the 'Korea Hidden Gems 100×100 Project,' hosted by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Korea Tourism Organization, has been extended. With the voting period now longer than originally planned, more citizens will have the opportunity to personally recommend attractive locations across the country.
This project was designed to discover 10,000 hidden gems located throughout the nation. It proceeds by having citizens participate in voting to highlight places worth visiting in their own neighborhoods or travel destinations. Within just one week of the voting launch, over 30,000 citizens have already participated, showing significant interest.
Citizens who wish to participate in the voting can submit their opinions through the official project website until the 17th. This extension was decided with the intention of reflecting the voices of more citizens to rediscover the value of every corner of South Korea.
The government and the Korea Tourism Organization plan to use the locations selected through this project as important data for revitalizing domestic tourism in the future. Those who wish to promote the hidden gems of their local areas are encouraged to take advantage of this extended period to participate in the voting.
