Daewoong Pharmaceutical Supports Citizen Health Management Through Seoul's 'Blood Sugar Catch 9988' Project
Daewoong Pharmaceutical has been selected as a partner for 'Blood Sugar Catch 9988,' a citizen blood sugar management support project promoted by the Seoul Metropolitan Government. This project is a new initiative launched by the city of Seoul to improve citizens' health and prevent diabetes.
The primary target of this project is Seoul citizens in the pre-diabetic stage. Daewoong Pharmaceutical plans to provide them with continuous glucose monitors (CGMs) and support systematic blood sugar management services. Through this, the company aims to help citizens more accurately understand and manage their health status.
A continuous glucose monitor is a device that can be attached to the body to check blood sugar fluctuations in real time. Using this device, Daewoong Pharmaceutical plans to guide participants so they can personally identify and improve how their dietary and lifestyle habits affect their blood sugar levels.
Through this collaboration, the Seoul Metropolitan Government and Daewoong Pharmaceutical aim to address the growing problem of diabetes and foster a culture where citizens manage their own health. It is expected that they will continue to contribute to improving the quality of life for citizens through various health support projects.
