KSPO Introduces Korean Fitness Management Model to European Sports Management Graduate Students
The Korea Sports Promotion Foundation (KSPO) recently invited 40 graduate students majoring in sports management from Europe to introduce them to 'National Fitness 100,' Korea's representative fitness management service. This visit was organized to promote Korea's advanced sports welfare system to the international community.
The visiting group directly observed the operational methods of National Fitness 100 and its scientific physical fitness measurement system. This program is a fitness management service operated nationwide to promote public health, and it is characterized by providing customized exercise prescriptions for each age group.
The European students showed great interest in Korea's systematic sports welfare system. In particular, the approach of public-sector-led health management and data accumulation served as a highly beneficial case study for students studying sports management.
A KSPO official expressed hope that this exchange would serve as an opportunity for Korea's sports policies to gain global recognition. The foundation plans to continue promoting the excellence of the Korean sports model through various international exchange activities.
