Korea National Sport University Sets Out to Cultivate Future Talent Combining Sports and AI
Recently, Korea National Sport University held a performance report meeting for practical projects that combine sports with artificial intelligence (AI) technology. This event was organized to share the process by which students identify real-world sports challenges and solve them using AI technology.
In this project, students directly implemented various technical solutions, such as smart coaching systems. This served as an opportunity to go beyond simple theoretical learning and consider how technology can be utilized in actual sports settings.
Professor Park Jae-hyun of Korea National Sport University explained that the core of this education is to foster the ability for students to define problems required in the field on their own and solve them with AI technology. Such attempts are highly significant in cultivating talent who will lead the digital transformation of the sports industry.
Moving forward, Korea National Sport University plans to continuously produce professional talent who can integrate sports with advanced technology. Many are paying close attention to what changes these achievements will bring to the future technological development of the domestic sports industry.
