Korea University of Technology and Education Shares Cases of Educational Innovation Using Generative AI
Recently, teaching methods utilizing generative artificial intelligence (AI) have been gaining attention in the educational field. Korea University of Technology and Education recently held the '2026 Edutech Educational Innovation Forum' and presented excellent cases of incorporating generative AI into classes.
At this forum, various attempts were introduced to bridge the gap between the theoretical content students learn and real-world phenomena. In particular, methods using AI technology to easily explain complex scientific principles or allowing students to predict experimental results themselves attracted significant interest.
Experts expect these changes to help increase students' learning efficiency. In fact, the cases shared at this forum focused on moving away from traditional rote learning and creating a classroom environment where students participate actively.
An official from Korea University of Technology and Education stated that they plan to continue educational innovation using AI through their Edutech Center. This forum is highly significant in that it has presented the direction in which future education should head.
