Overseas Technical Volunteering by Korean University Students and Local Community Cultural News
Students from Korea University of Technology and Education (KOREATECH) are heading to Vietnam for educational volunteer activities. This initiative was designed as part of the "Sharing through Technology" project, where students use the skills they learned at school to help neighbors abroad.
The students plan to conduct various educational programs based on their major knowledge in Vietnam. This volunteer activity is expected to be a valuable opportunity for Korean youth to gain global experience while contributing to the development of local Vietnamese communities.
There is also welcome cultural news from the local community in Korea. "A-ol," a musical theater troupe composed of office workers, will perform the licensed musical "All Shook Up" for two days from the 11th to the 12th of next month at the Korea Craft Museum in Cheongju, North Chungcheong Province.
This performance is particularly special as it is a stage prepared by ordinary office workers who practiced in their spare time despite their busy daily lives. Citizens of Cheongju are expected to enjoy high-quality musical culture up close through this weekend's performance.
In this way, Korean university students are practicing sharing abroad, while office workers are breathing new life into local communities through artistic activities. These activities play a significant role in enhancing the sense of community in our society and enriching our culture.
